Sorry I'm a little bit late. feel really stressed under the pressure of both final exams and aftershocks. I hope you guys are all fine.
So let's start our journey to the world of nature together to feel the magic power of the earth. It's a little bit like going back to the ancient time as we try to live without shops where you can buy cleanser, shampoo, conditioner, skincare products, etc. Have you ever thought how our ancetors lived when there was no shop at all? How did they protect their skin? How did they keep healthy? Well they must have their own way! Then what is their way? Do you ever feel curious of it? Well I do! Then here comes the question: are the products that we are using everyday really good for us and our earth? I know it's impossible that we make everything we need ourselves as trade does make us better off which is one of the most fundamental principals in economics. What I mean here is we do not need a revolution but we can do some change little by little to avoid going to the extreme which is either a world full of so-called high-tech products or a world of extremely low productivity. So this blog is aiming at learning and sharing the way to live eco-friendly. Hopefully you guys can find something useful here and if you got some awesome ideas you are very welcome to share them with us!
Have a good day!

Hey hey, Tim from Tauawhi here. I went hard on the shampoo front in EMF last year and found coconut cream was good for leaving you with a bit of moisture and shine. I wouldn't say I've found an all-in-one solution but here are my thoughts:
ReplyDeleteHair:
Baking Soda - feels like it's doing some cleaning. Doesn't wash out well - looks like it's snowing on your shoulders.
Olive oil - I went way overboard with this at first, Hello Mr Italy! Anyhow, I used a shampoo bar and organic conditioner the other day which left my hair really dry so I brushed a teaspoon or so of oil through it and it looks great.
Rooibos tea - I made some hair mixtures with warm tea and honey. Very tasty. Not sure how well they worked - I think the honey might be useful.
Skin - espresso coffee grinds from a cafe are great for a body scrub.
Hope that's useful! :)
